Light vs. Full Integration

When integrating the qiibee Loyalty API, you can choose between a light and full integration.

Light integration

• You do not use the qiibee blockchain as your Points Bank and you keep your existing loyalty program setup as it is.

• You do not track the member balances on the qiibee blockchain and you don’t use the loyalty currency on the qiibee blockchain for rewards / redemptions in your loyalty program.

• You only create your loyalty point on the qiibee blockchain with the same details as in your own program.

• You only record exchange transactions on the qiibee blockchain (exchange from your loyalty currency to other currencies and vice versa).

• Mandatory integration:

  • Points Exchange API

• Optional integration:

  • Users API

Full integration

• You use the qiibee blockchain as your Points Bank and you change your existing loyalty program setup (or create a new one).

• You track the member balances on the qiibee blockchain and you use the loyalty currency on the qiibee blockchain for rewards / redemptions in your loyalty program.

• There is no other loyalty currency on your own program and you record all transactions on the qiibee blockchain.

• Mandatory integrations:

  • Points Bank API

  • Users API

• Recommended integration:

  • Points Exchange API (to enable exchange transactions)

• Optional integration:

  • Points Engine API (to use additional features)
